Active magnetic cloaking with a dipole

We theoretically propose and experimentally demonstrate an active quasi-static magnetic Toy Storage cloak enabled by a single magnetic dipole.The cloaking effect can be achieved by active cancelation of the background magnetic field using the magnetic dipole.Compared with previous multi-unit designs, the single-unit design drastically reduces the number of control units required.

It has potential applications in realizing the homogeneous field Voltage Detectors in wireless power transfer, magnetic resonance imaging, and other diffusion-based applications.
